English-speaking journalist

Can you spot a great story from a mile off? Do you want to have a hand in creating the world’s most engaging content? Then you might be the next hard-working talent we’re seeking for our team of writers.

One of the most engaging, successful news sites worldwide, Newsner.com, is now looking for a talented journalist to join our team in Stockholm.

Which qualifications are required?

We are looking for a native English speaker or equivalent, spoken and written. We would like you to have some experience in digital news journalism, preferably tabloid journalism. Qualifications in journalism are preferred, but it’s even better if you have experience working on a news site. Maybe you’ve worked with social media and have a deep understanding of English-speaking audiences? That’s also a big plus! A suitable candidate should be able to easily work with a wide range of topics that engage our readers, with a focus on everything from traditional news journalism to entertainment and animal news.

What can we offer you?

We pride ourselves on being a company where everyone can have their voice heard and where new ideas are always welcome. A successful candidate will get the opportunity to take a lot of personal responsibility and a chance to be part of our wonderful team that engages millions of readers every week. We want our editors to be open to learning new things, as well as teaching others and being prepared to roll up their sleeves to drive our company towards reaching new heights.

Who are we?

Newsner was started in 2014 and is today a part of Caybon. In just a couple of years, we’ve grown from our office in Stockholm to have offices in all the Nordic capitals, Berlin, the UK and New York. Our team in Stockholm today consists of about 20 editors. Globally, our work is read by eight million users each week.
