Newsner’s video provided the opening for Leonardo DiCaprio’s charity gala in Saint Tropez.
Newsner’s video about how a group of wolves affected nature in Yellowstone has been seen by 68 million people on Facebook this year and shared over 2 million times. It is one of the world’s most watched videos in 2017.
On Wednesday, Leonardo DiCaprio held a charity gala in Saint Tropez to raise money for the environment. The opening of the event was Newsner’s video about how the wolves affected the ecosystem in Yellowstone.
In addition to Monaco’s Prince Albert, Madonna and Tom Hanks, Newsner’s Norhan Elhakeem and Jonatan Jonasson – who produced the video together – were also in in attendance.
“Of course, it’s great that our video is featured in such contexts, but the best thing I think is that almost 70 million people viewed the video on Facebook. It feels very cool that a small group in Stockholm can sit and make several of the world’s most watched videos this year. Video is growing rapidly with us now and we are seeing increasing interest from advertisers too, “says Johan Rikner, CEO of nyheter365.
